Keep coming back everytime when I'm in Hawaii. Kinda pity that weren't too many choices this time for cakes but still had many different kind of Croissants. Tried the Hawaiian seasalt&Honey one! AMAZING! I packed 2 croissant and flew them with me back to home lol. Anyways, will keep coming back! Highly recommend!

Absolutely love Vavin Dessert Bar Café! The cappuccino is consistently perfect – rich, smooth, and made with care. Their pastries are always fresh and delicious, the perfect complement to the coffee. A big shoutout to Jin the barista – super pleasant, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and quality treats. Highly recommend!

If you are anywhere on Oahu- don’t hesitate to visit this gem. Probably the best croissants we have ever had - directly comparing to the many tastings we’ve had in France (and around the world). My oldest son is a croissant addict and he SUPREMELY approves :) Also definitely the best basque cheesecake we have ever had. Really lovely service as well and a cute little sitting area tucked away from the bustle of Kalakaua. Definitely top on our list of “when we come back to Hawaii, we have to return here”.

Hands down the best place to grab a cup of coffee & a sweet treat in Honolulu! My husband and I went here the second day of our trip and we couldn't stop ourselves from going back everyday until we left. I love that they make everything in house, the pastries are so fresh. This place is a MUST visit!

This was our first place to visit for breakfast during our trip. I want to say that I quite enjoyed the matcha, as well as the delicious croissants. I think we’ll come back here again to try some other desserts or different kinds of croissants. There are comfortable outdoor seating options, and the service is pleasant. Basically, everything you need. I liked it, and I can definitely recommend this place. ✅

Vavin Dessert Bar exceeded my expectations! The place is incredibly cute, with beautiful pastries displayed at the front. As a pistachio lover, I couldn’t resist the double pistachio twice-baked and the Hawaiian honey and salt croissant. Both were delicious and flavorful in their own right. For my drink, I opted for the de Roses tea, a refreshing green tea served in a beautiful teapot. I prefer unsweetened tea, so this was perfect for me. Overall, Vavin Dessert Bar is a charming place with delicious treats. I’ll definitely be back! .

The BEST! Truly a must to visit. I’m from NYC and loves pastries. They have top-notch croissants! I have spent plenty of time in France and these guys got it figure out. The cheesecake bisque is insanely good, as well. To make it even more wonderful, the staff are the most pleasant — they treat you like family. The area is beautiful, sitting outside away from heavy tourist traffic and next to the park (birds chirping and beautiful greenery). I couldn’t recommend a better place … in the US! I’ll be here daily.

Excellent croissants & coffee. The owner is so bright, his professionalism is shown in detail. Work of such quality is beautiful, I really admire. It’s not just delish - having authentic, real food makes you feel good! Music can be a bit loud sometimes, but I enjoy every moment here :*)

Do yourself a favor and have a breakfast at this cafe! The BEST ham and cheese croissant in my life. Vavin caramel latte is amazing (if you like sweet lattes, trust me!) Plain croissant, eclairs are just perfect too. Came here last year during the vacation, now back here again, and it’s still as delicious as I remember. Looks like it’s family owned, and honestly - thank you guys for making my mornings here brighter!
